Founder's statement
The end of a beginning
13 October 2026 marks the 10th anniversary of RPS, and we have decided to shut it down gracefully due to the many bureaucratic challenges that we are facing in Indonesia. It's been a long journey, one that we won't ever forget for the rest of our lives.
After all, we built RPS not just as a business, but as our second home. A place to learn and grow ourselves. We can say proudly that RPS has achieve it's primary purpose: a vessel to grow.
Last 10 years
We started as a software development agency from our 9m2 small dorm room, to our own office nested in the mountain area of Bandung, Indonesia. We have had the pleasure to work with many verticals both in Indonesia, Singapore, and other Southeast-asian countries. Each project is special for us because we prioritize quality over quantity. Along the span of 10 years, we have had many challenges but equally many wins and lessons.
We build stuff, own product, and experiment with many things. We fail a lot, learn and stand up again. We will keep doing so, but it won't be in this vessel.
The next journey
七転び八起き - Nana korobi ya oki has always been our core value in RPS. We believe that lifelong learning is a privilege, one that we are exercising both in professional as in our personal life. We also believe in balance and while we have sprint for the last 10 years, it's time for us to take time to rest.
What's next? We don't know yet. One thing that we know for sure, is that the Universe works in a strange, ineffable way. We won't try to decode, look for logical reason, or force anything. We'll just glide with the stream and we know we'll landed somewhere eventually.
